Library & Links

This "library" is a linked resource to my favourites in Philosophy, Lifestyle, Guidance, Psychology, Wisdom, Fantasy, and Outside the Box thinking on Schooling, Birthing, Theology, and Culture. I believe many different stances are valuable and authors range from Atheists, Agnostics to Varied forms of Religion. It reflects freedom in one way or another and each title offers something very valuable. I only take the time to write books on here that struck me especially as my reading list is extensive and would take hours to record...There are also some free PDF book links. I am not including ART or Film in this list because it would be too large of a resource page. I am a bit of a Rory in that sense and understood every single reference Gilmore Girls made to film or book, thus, I will refrain from writing the multiple loves of my life in those categories here:)

PODCASTS / VIDEOS WORTH LISTENING TO:

If you are also interested in a few more links to thinking differently about religion, life, finances and philosophy try:

A visual feast of over 2,700 images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art portrays key events that shaped the development of Western thought, culture, and tradition. This series is also valuable for teachers seeking to review the subject matter." BOOKS
*Links for either the book or a website are in Author's name.* In NO particular order.

Philosophy/ Theology Themed Favourites
*These should be paired with the Podcasts above. I can not emphasis enough how important the varied podcasts are for perspective. Personally, I have trouble with audio and listening to podcasts, however, my husband began putting them on for hour trips and the ones listed above are the voices I can handle and have enough interesting content to be worth it. I still can't just put on a podcast anytime. But for drives, or times in our Library when we sit and colour and listen...it is WORTH it. The podcasts really do pair with the books. Especially if one listens to the ENTIRE series of each on above. I can't even express the massive amounts I have learned through the links above...And if you are looking for basic Philosophy I highly recommend reading ONE book from each famous Philosopher ( I am not going to list all the books): CLICK HERE.

  • Martin Heidegger: Between Good and Evil by
  • Anam Cara- John O'Donohue
  • Wisdom of the Shire- Noble Smith
  • The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who you are- Alan Watts

  • Educational Resources/ Unschooling/ Cultural Conditioning
    YOUNG ADULT FICTION/ FANTASY Favourites

    Children's Favourites (Also Educational)

Autism/ Asperger's Personal accounts / Neurodiversity  Top Resources

    Self Help  and Health Favourites

Home and Design/ Nature and Landscape

    Fun Misc.

    • ( If this list reflected all my reading favourites it would be REALLY LONG- especially the children's/ Fantasy section... I will add more when I am bored:)

    *For a humorous song:) Brilliant.
